Put on your chef’s hat and expand your palate in this learn-by-doing adventure. Designed to encourage kids to explore new foods, this class will feature a new recipe each week. Young cooks will learn about healthy eating and good food choices while they master basic kitchen skills and begin to establish good habits that will last a lifetime. This season’s recipes may include homemade chewy granola bars, frozen chocolate-banana pops, chocolate granola apple wedges, cheesecake-stuffed strawberries, raspberry-chocolate parfait, chocolate-peanut butter pudding and guacamole with blue tortilla chips. Take home recipes and handouts are included each week. A $30 materials fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
